ISO-9001
The International Standards Organization (ISO) is a global network representing 151 countries, one member per country, the national standards institutes for each member country. As a non-governmental organization, the ISO occupies a special position between the public and private sectors. Although many ISO members are part of the government in their respective country, and adhere to government mandates and guidelines, other ISO members are uniquely rooted in the private business sector.
